Anniversary: Uviejitobor Applauds Oborevwori’s Visionary Leadership In Delta State

The Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State, Hon (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor has felicitated with the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on second anniversary in office.

Hon Uviejitobor in a congratulatory message to the Governor on the epoch making event, said Rt Hon Oborevwori has achieved so much within two years of his administration in the state.

Uviejitobor, a former Lawmaker who represented Udu State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, between 2015 and 2023, commended the Governor for his visionary leadership.

He said, “As we mark the second anniversary of His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, I wish to commend him for his visionary leadership and commitment to developing Delta State. Under his watch, our state has witnessed significant progress”.

The Oil and Gas Commissioner noted that the two years administration of Governor Oborevwori has made notable strides in the oil and gas sector.

Uviejitobor listed enhanced transparency and accountability in revenue collection, improved community engagement and development initiatives and increased investment in infrastructure and capacity building as some of the giant strides of the Governor in the last two years.

According to Uviejitobor, Rt Hon Oborevwori’s leadership has demonstrated a strong commitment to good governance, ensuring Efficient management of resources, Promotion of stakeholder engagement and Enhancement of economic growth and development.

The Commissioner appreciated Governor Oborevwori’s trust and support, promising that his team remains dedicated to supporting and collaborating with him for a greater Delta State.

“Your Excellency, looking ahead, we will continue to work tirelessly in supporting you to achieve more goals and make Delta State a model for good governance”, Uviejitobor stated.
